Møbeltransport Danmark has for many years taken environmental considerations into account, in all of our daily activities. However, in 2012 we decided to systemize our approach, by implementing an effective environmental management system. Our headquaters has since and continues to be ISO 14001 certified.
Our environmental management system ensures that we constantly control our activities, processes and competences towards an improved environmental performance, where results are documented and reported. Our Management review the environmental management system regularly, and make any necessary adjustments to ensure we meet our environmental objectives.

As a transportation company, one of our main priorities is to reduce our fuel consumption and optimize our vehicles fuel efficiency, thereby reducing emissions to the surrounding environment. As a licensed waste carrier and waste collector, we furthermore have a responsibility to manage our waste, along with our customers' waste, responsibly.
One of our biggest costs as a moving company is our moving boxes and as an environmentally conscious firm, it is a great importance to us that we are aware of the sustainability of our moving boxes.

FSC is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests both environmentally and socially. FSC makes sure that the forests they certify are protecting plant and animal species, indigenous people’s rights, forest workers’ safety, having educated workers, and much more.
